Burrrata Bolognese

Our Family Favorite: Buon Appetito!
FOR THE BOLOGNESE:
2 Carrots – small diced
2 Celery Stalks – small diced
1 Yellow onion – small diced
1 lb ground Italian sausage
1 lb ground beef
1 can diced or crushed tomatoes (preference of texture)
1 cup Demi Glace (or beef broth reduction)
Minced garlic – to taste
½ cup Whole Milk
1.5 tbsp Italian Seasoning
Salt & Pepper – to taste
½ cup grated parmesan cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a large sauce pan cook ground beef and sausage until browned.
- Add diced carrot, celery, and onion to the browned beef and continue cooking until veggies soften and become translucent.
- Add canned tomatoes and demi glace. Simmer over medium high heat until tomatoes are softened.
- Add whole milk, Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese. Stil gently to incorporate ingredients.
- Serve over fresh cooked pappardelle pasta.
- Garnish with fresh burrata, basil and olive oil.
